Obverse: President John F. Kennedy’s bust facing left. The date and mint mark can be found centered at the bottom of the obverse under Kennedy's bust. Inscriptions include: “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST”.
Reverse: Features an American eagle with wings spread and the Presidential Coat of Arms on its chest. Arrows and an olive branch are found in the eagle’s talons. “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” is centered above the design and “HALF DOLLAR” is found below. On a ribbon just above the eagle is the famous motto, “E PLURIBUS UNUM”.
