Arrows and an olive branch are found in the eagle’s talons. “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” is centered above the design and “HALF DOLLAR” is found below. On a ribbon just above the eagle is the famous motto, “E PLURIBUS UNUM”
Obverse: President John F. Kennedy’s bust facing left. The date and mint mark can be found centered at the bottom of the obverse under Kennedy's bust. Inscriptions include: “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST”.
