On April 6th of 2020 the United States Mint announced that they were producing circulating quarters from the West Point Mint as they did in 2019. The 2020-W Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve Quarter can only be found in circulation which makes them quite rare with a maximum of 2 million produced. These coins bear the "W" mint mark for West Point along with a small privy mark added to the obverse of the coin. This privy mark displays "V75" inside an outline of the Rainbow Pool at the World War II Memorial in Washington DC. The meaning of "V75" is to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the US Victory in World War II - making this an extremely special coin. The U.S. Mint produced these coins with the purpose of generating excitement for coin collecting by introducing rare coins into circulation. These "W" quarters were mixed in with bags of coins minted from the Philadelphia and Denver Mint.
You will receive a 2020-W Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve Quarter in Almost Uncirculated condition, these coins are basically uncirculated but do have some bag marks on them.
